How to Join SCCPDS
Thank you for your interest in joining the Surgical Critical Care Program Directors Society (SCCPDS). Membership is open to Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, and persons in leadership roles at eligible institutions. Eligible institutions are those with Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Members of SCCPDS have access to invaluable tools and resources to enhance their professional growth and development within the surgical critical care field.
- SCC Professionals: Access to Practice Management Guidelines, education resources, and recommended articles and reports.
- SCC Program Directors: Access to fellowship evaluation guidelines, journal club resources, and training resources for Surgical Critical Care Fellows.
- Current SCC Fellows: Access to curriculum vitae resources, guidelines for board certification preparation, and job postings.
- Future SCC Fellows: Access fellowship requirements, fellowship program comparisons, and the National Resident Matching Program process.
A Program Director may apply at any time for membership to the SCCPDS on behalf of his or her institution.
Each membership term is for up to one year, dependent on institution membership start date, and renews yearly on January 1 upon successful payment of yearly renewal dues.
Institute-level membership in SCCPDS is contingent upon review of institution qualifications. All administrator-approved staff members at each institution are covered under the annual fee.
